Comprehensive School with Upper Secondary Level Königs Wusterhausen (since 2014)

Our youngest school is the comprehensive school with upper secondary level in Königs Wusterhausen which opened in 2014.

The school moved into the same building where our Montessori primary school was already established. In the lower secondary level (grades 7-10) we teach in two or three classes in each grade whereas in the upper secondary level, which just started in the 2018, there is currently only one class.

Modifications before School Opening

As there are different requirements for a secondary school in comparison to a primary school we invested in an extensive renovation of the building. Flooring and paint work have been done as well as completely new science class rooms have been equipped with the latest technologies necessary for teaching biology, chemistry and physics.

Pioneer in Digitalization

Our youngest school is also our pioneer when it comes to digitalization in schools. Each student has its own laptop which are being used regularly in the lessons. The students are profiting from a more diverse and adventurous classes. Our colleagues are regularly trained in the use of digital media, hardware and software within the classroom. We are on our way to becoming a digitalized school.

Degrees

Graduation ranges from an advanced vocational qualification up to the upper secondary level degree (Abitur). Each student can achieve the best possible degree according to their level of ability.
